Wrapping up 2016

Written on :

How was 2016 for you? Really good? pretty ok or just so so? Do you define your 2016 based on what happened in the economy? or by the little things that gave you something to be grateful for? I had a meeting with my mentor, Mrs Udo Ukonjo, yesterday and she made me realize again how much the little things matter. So what am I really grateful for in 2016? I'm grateful for clarity I look back on my year and I see a journey towards clarity and really coming into my own. In 2017, my focus will be on sharing practical ways to build real personal wealth with my emails, e-books, an online course and workshops It's a task I've put off for far too long all because I couldn't bring myself to accept I could actually do this. In the same vein, what activity or task did you put off in 2016 because you thought you were not qualified or not knowledgeable enough? Or maybe you were just scared of what will be required to make it a success? You don't have to be perfect to start. You just need to start and keep learning what you need to make it a success. In 2016, I learnt to accept not everyone will accept what you stand for and that's ok. When you decide what path to take in life, you don't need anyone's permission, you only need yours. Finally, I'm wrapping up 2016 grateful for you. Yes, you! You've taken out time to read my emails and send me a response when it resonated with you. You made the late nights spent staying up to finish my weekly post/email worth it. Thank you. Trust me. it's not easy sending out emails and hoping not to get the 'unsubscribe' message. It's a vulnerable task I take on every week but if you ask me, it's totally worth it. In 2017, decide what you want and don't let anything, especially those sneaky doubts, stop you. After all, we are what we think we are. If we think we can or we can't, either way, we're right. Have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. I wish you a 2017 filled with clarity, creativity, extra capacity and a better network. See you on January 7th! Have a good one
