Your playing small does not serve the world.

Oftentimes, when I get into conversations with friends or family, I get feedback that my dreams are too big. They ask why I do not think within conservative boundaries. I always respond, saying “I’ll be doing God a great disservice by thinking small”. Based on these conversations, I realize people cower a lot at having big dreams. People ask themselves, who they are to have such great dreams? What qualifications they have to have such big dreams? or if they can possibly achieve anything great …etc. etc. Well, I’ve got news for you. The most important qualification you need to achieve the 'impossible' is to BELIEVE YOU CAN. That’s all most of the celebrated business icons like Steve jobs, Bill gates, Walt Disney, Oprah Winfrey had to go on. Yet they are lauded today for daring to dream and achieving what was unimaginable. You were created for so much more. Dare to believe! When I set my goals, I like to set goals that seem impossible for a couple of reasons:   IT STRETCHES MY MIND. It’s a classic case of believing something great can be achieved, finally achieving it and then moving on to something greater. It just really stretches your thinking. Truth is, the unimaginable keeps happening on a daily basis so you're better off imagining the unimaginable anyway You'll be in the right company with individuals like Elon Musk  and Richard Branson who are working on creating the technologies that will enable humanity to reduce space transportation costs and enable the colonization of Mars   IT SETS A LEGACY for generations after you to believe in the impossible. Think Walt Disney.   GREAT IDEAS ATTRACT THE BEST BRAINS because that is the only way it can be achieved. and you're also better off in the company of the best brains, anyway.   GROWTH. I read a quote once, ‘’You either step forward into growth or step back into safety, your choice.” Anytime you take a step forward to do something that really scares you, you grow in capacity and ability.     Don’t underestimate what you can achieve by just believing. It’s the perfect mustard seed. Now, I’m not naive to think it will be all rosy and easy to achieve the unimaginable. You know, just believe and just like that! Your dreams come true. Lol. Nope. What you believe will be tested like crazy, in fact more than crazy, but you need to hold on and keep believing , keep moving forward even in the face of failure, doubt, obstacles and all what not.
